Turkey Hunts
Seasons and their dates are posted on the Kansas Department of Wildlife website www.kdwp.state.ks.us/ Both in-state and out of state licenses are available. There is a spring and fall season offered. Two bearded turkey limit in the spring, and one any sex turkey in the fall.
Pricing: $500 per gun for a 3 day hunt. Bag limit of one (second bird would be an additional $100, and this will include lodging.

Pictured at the left is Shad, Kade and Jon Sheldon. This was Kade's first turkey, weighing in at a whopping 29 lbs with a 9" beard. The right photo is Penny (me). I shot this 23 pounder in the nick of time.....the last day of Spring Turkey of 07. I can't tell you how excited I was to see and hear this Tom come toward me. Shad called him in for me, and I waited, and waited, and waited until he was about 10' from me...then POW...I missed the first shot! Thank God for second chances!!!
