Ring neck Pheasant
We have 1500 acres of land for you to hunt on.
Descriptions of hunts
* NOTE....we limit our hunts to only 4
Turkeys and 4 Bucks (4 point or better) to be taken per season. This is to
increase YOUR success rate and help us to help you in bagging a trophy animal.
Cull animals are also taken through the season as well. Most cull animals
will be taken by our family, friends, or if special arrangements are made in
advance.
- Wild Bird Pheasant Hunt- For pheasant season 2007, we
will NOT offer any bird hunts due to last winters' snow fall.
State of Kansas bag limit 4 roosters per day.
16 total possession limit. 2 gun minimum. Price includes full
day of hunting. Available 1st Saturday of November 2006 until January
31, 2007. Does not include lodging. See below for
lodging cost. No guide available, unless requested.
Terrain will vary, but will include CRP, corn & sunflower stalks, wheat
stubble, river bottom, dense trees, pasture. Wild bird quail hunting
will not be available this winter, as we are trying to build up our habitat
for quail. However, we can purchase penned birds for you at a price
per bird cost. Please call us for per bird cost on both pheasant and
quail.
- Turkey hunt-Seasons are posted on the state of Kansas website.
Both in-state and out-of-state licenses are available. There is a
spring and fall season offered. One bearded turkey limit in the
spring, and one any sex turkey in the fall.
- Deer hunting- We are booked for 2007, but will take
reservations for 2008 and beyond. Whitetail and mule deer hunt. Unit 1 tag only.
We will offer deer licenses next year for out-of-state residents, if
available. Dates are posted on the Kansas Department of Wildlife and
Parks website. Firearms, archery, and muzzleloader.
- Prairie Dog-This runs all year long. However, we say the
best time for shooting prairie dogs is mid-May thru mid-July.
- 50% non-refundable deposit required to guarantee hunting date.
